Densely quilted hobo style tote bag
Fabric is from a recycled silk jacket. I just love the
colors!
Beautiful reds and deep teal, and some purples.
Large sized, with two inside pockets.
Straps and bag are made as one unit.
Linning is un-bleached muslin.

wild design, then quilted very heavily. A small inside pocket,

A recycled handbag has been given a mix media art
treatment, using an art print and other papers. Collaged on
fabric and quilted to match rest of handbag, and attched to
front of bag.
Completely laminated and has a semi- gloss shine. Leopard
fabric velour on the sides, and handle completes the animal
look. Handbag is a square, sturdy bag that hold it's shape.

This medium sized messenger bag is from a
recycled silk scarf and is heavily quilted. It is two
toned blue and light blues and has a animal print
linning in blues and teals. A nice simple shoulder
pouch for on the go casual wear.

STRAW FLOWERS BAG -Very different and unique,
sure to get lots of attention.Appliqued mix media
paper-cloth flowers, three on one side and two on
the other, so both sides of the bag are decorated.
The bag and flowers are laminated, and have a
glossy sheen. A shoulder strap from wood beads
(that was once a belt) is the perfect touch. Lined with
a cotton print, green floral, and an inside Pocket.

Large quilted tote from black denim. A beautiful pink
embroidered flower design on the front. Tote is bag
and linning, for a less stiff kind of bag. Still a very

SEA HORSE Hand painted and quilted tote with a
seahorse and underwater design, Both front and
back have painting and quilting. Heavily quilted in
free motion techique. Fabric dye type paint was
used, so painting has a very soft feel. Colors are a
bright blues, (the 2nd and 3rd photos show the more
true color of the back round, there are lots of greens
and teals thoughout the tote. Black inside linning,
with small pocket.

MIXED MEDIA Colorful fabric scraps are sewn
together and purposely frayed, for a fuffy chenille
look. Sewn on a heavy canvas base, a very sturdy
tote. A green froggy print was used for the linning, to
add to it's fun feel. Two good sized inside pockets.

6 1/2" high (from center), 9" high ( from sides)
Shoulder straps are tied though metal gromets and
secured with gold buttons.
